Barton K. Bennett, Sr.

Barton Keith Bennet, Sr. was born June 9, 1964 in Denver, CO to James Keith Bennett and Nancy Barton Bennett. He passed from this world unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008. He was preceded in death by his father, James Keith Bennett, his step-father, Kenneth K. Kohnke; is survived by his mother, Nancy B. Kohnke, and four children: son, Barton Keith Bennett, Jr., daughters Melissa Rochelle Bennett, Britney Stevens, Ashley Stevens, one grandson, Malekai Hamilton; two sisters, Jayma Lynn Alford (William), Julie A. Hudson (William), nieces Aspen Russell (Nathan), Lacey Clark, Elizabeth and Rebecca Hudson, Jaime Stultz, great nieces Taylor & Trinity Stultz, and great nephew Trey Stultz.; nephews Derek Hudson, Christopher Michael Clark, Matthew C. Hudson, Levi F. Hudson, Collin Hudson, James F. Wormell (Julie), Loyd Scott Wormell and David Mathew Wormell; extended families & many friends. Bart will be sadly missed by his family friends.

Barton Keith Bennett gave 21 years service to his country and his family.

Services will be conducted on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Lakewood Church of the Nazarene, 1755 Dover St., Lakewood, Colorado. Interment, Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area "B", 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, Colorado at 12:30 PM.
