Beatrice Georgopulos Born on August 8, 1932 to Fred & Eva Pottorf in Loveland, Co. Raised in Kremmling, CO. She spent time at Camp Hale (WW II) as a girl while her father built barracks for the ski troops and prisoners. She moved to Denver in 1950.
Survived by husband Barry, sons Duane Heber (Rosie), Gary Heber (Patti), daughter Diane Heber, sons Mike Heber, Mike Georgopulos (Julie), Dan Georgopulos (Brenda), 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was beloved by many friends across the country as well as her large family.
Her favorite pastime was hosting her large family for holidays and special occasions. She also enjoyed many gatherings at Lake Dillon with family members and boating.
She worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk in Denver and Customer Service at Merrifield, VA when they moved to the D.C. area when Barry was assigned to the USPS Management Academy in 1989. They both retired in 1992.
A true patriot who loved her country and spent countless hours contributing to veteran's welfare and Americanism through her beloved Marine Corps League Auxiliary. Her lively persona and tireless devotion to family and America earned her love and respect all over the country.
Well travelled, she spent time in all 50 states and a dozen foreign countries around the world as well as many cruises.
