Beatrice Johnson was born in Dorchester, South Carolina on April 28, 1937, to parents Henry and Annie Ruth Williams. She was the second oldest of eight siblings. She fought an 8 year battle of Dementia. On August 6, 2023, she left this earthly life and stepped in the presence of the Lord.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Annie Ruth Williams, brother James Williams (Mary), brother Elijah Williams Sr., (Natalie), brother Willie Williams (Judy), and sister Annie Mae Williams. Son Ashley Vernon Johnson Jr., daughter Annette Marie Harvey; and son-in-law Anthony 'Tony' Robert Turner.

Beatrice received her formal education in the public schools of Dorchester County in South Carolina. She was a woman of faith and a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Ladson SC. On August 5, 1955, Beatrice was united in holy matrimony to Ashley V. Johnson. To this union four children were born, Ashley Jr., Annette, Mildred, and Terrie. She was a wonderful and loving wife. She was a proud Air Force military spouse. She loved her family. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She enjoyed going to church at Lowry Air Force Base, Center Chapel in Denver, Colorado, Heritage Christian Center in Denver, Colorado, Denver Potter's House of Colorado, and Hope City Church of Colorado. She loved watching television and some of her favorite shows were Carol Burnett, Flip Wilson, Dark Shadows, Young and the Restless, and Let's Make a Deal. She loved to drink her coffee while she listen to the news on 850 KOA Radio. She enjoyed listening to music and some of her favorites were gospel, classical, Ray Charles, and Tina Turner. She enjoyed flowers and some of her favorites were Roses, Irises, and Tulips.

Beatrice love to cook for her family. She enjoyed making Peach Cobbler, Fried Chicken, Ham hocks and Lima Beans, and fried Bologna Sandwiches. She enjoyed sewing and had a Singer sewing machine in her kitchen. She loved walking through out Park Hill and City Park. She loved the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, Air Force Academy, and Pikes Peaks in Colorado Springs. She enjoyed camping in her RV at the Royal Gorge KOA Campground in Canyon City. She enjoyed going to the movies at Lowry Air Force Base and Downtown Denver. She enjoyed traveling by train, car, plane, and RV. She enjoyed road trips to the following states: Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. She enjoyed plane trips to New York and Florida and South Carolina. She enjoyed working as a maid at Niagara House Hotel in Denver, Colorado. She was an active Parents Teacher Associate member (PTA) in the Denver Public Schools for all four of her children. She was truly a blessing to all who knew her.

Beatrice leaves to cherish her precious memories and mourn her passing; her loving and devoted husband of 68 years Ashley V. Johnson Sr., son-in-law Richard Harvey Sr., daughter Mildred Johnson Turner, and daughter Terrie Hillig (Charles Sr.). Grandchildren Antwan (Jordan), Neikya (Clyde III), Devon (Linda), Charles Jr., Marissa, and Richard III (Melissa). Great Grandchildren Kaylah, D'Aja, Ashleigh, Idris, Onnaven, Tattyana, Clyde IV, Ashley Charles, Caleb Ian, and Aamaree. Great Great Granddaughter Avi'yonce; Sister Willie Mae DeLee, Sister Earlene Brantley (Perchell), and Brother Samuel Williams (Pricilla), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends, and fur baby Sharday.
