It is with great sadness that we announce, Beatrice (Bea Bea) Lopez (nee Lucero) of San Luis, Colorado passed in peace on August 3, 2021 at the age of 94, in Thornton Colorado.
Bea Bea was born April 27, 1927 to the late Samuel and Filomena Lucero. She was the 3rd born of 4 children. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Emelina Romine, Orlando Lucero and Laura Costa and her husband Eloy Lopez.
Bea was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and spending time with her family. She was always smiling and laughing and thinking of others first. She will be remembered for her 'let's go' spirit, her ceaseless prayers for her family as well the bottomless pancakes, cookies and other sweets she loved to serve when you visited.
She will forever be remembered by her children; Eloy (Rose) Lopez, Gloria (Abel), Sanchez, Patricia Montoya, and Linda (Steve) Hamilton. Grandchildren; Angela Almanza, Ralph (Carla) Montoya Jr., Diana (Jeremy) Winship, Eloy Lopez Jr., Natasha (Shane) Gorham, Laura Montoya, Michael (LayLay) Lopez, Qiana (Sean) Nelson, and Paula (Fidel) Diaz. Great-Grandchildren; Austin (Stephanie), Gabino Jr., Mariah, Ayania, Corinna, Aliana, Abrianna, Angelo, Tyler, Sierra, Danielle, Leandro, Isabella, Colby, Jasmine, Amaya, Jacob and Grace. Great-Great Grandson, Christian as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial and celebration of her life will be held at Servant's Heart Church, 6405 Monaco Street. Commerce City CO 80022 on August 14, 2021 at 10:00am. Reception following at Berean Grace Fellowship 7361 Krameria Dr. Commerce City CO 80022
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary; 11385 Grant Drive. Northglenn CO 80233 on Friday, August 20, 2021. Rosary at 10:30am followed by Mass at 11:00am
The Rite of Committal and interment will be held at Sangre de Cristo Parish and San Luis Cemetery in San Luis Colorado. Date of services are pending and will be announced at a later time.
