Belita J. Harpool was born October 7, 1952 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Willie Johnson and Evelyn Cody. The family moved to Denver, Colorado in 1956. She passed away on October 30, 2006.
Belita was educated through the Denver Public School system. She graduated from George Washington High School in 1970.
Belita worked for the telephone company for over 30 years and retired as a network engineering manager.
Belita enjoyed spending time with and entertaining her family and friends. Her house parties and good cooking were enjoyed by all. She was also willing to help others in need. You could always find Belita working on her yard improvement projects and sewing softballs for the blind.
Belita is survived by her son, Terrance Johnson and daughter, Shanika Harpool.
Belita leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, father daughter, son, step-father Robert Walker, brother and sisters Francine Cody, Ernie Johnson, Robert Cossia, all of Denver, Colorado and Roberta (Shelby) Jordan of Idaho Falls, grandchildren Shaquille Johnson, Jyansea Johnson, Shakur Johnson, Anthony Harpool, Nevaeh Johnson, and Inda Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Belita will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
