Maria Verzabella Romero SHARRAH
64, of Lakewood, CO, passed away April 2, 2007. She was born in Cokedale, CO on August 3, 1942. She attended Mt. Carmel and Holy Trinity schools. She resided at 915 Robinson Ave., Trinidad, CO. While in high school she worked at Kelly's Bakery. After high school she went to Denver for a while then went to California. She spent over 30 years there raising 3 sons Kevin, Karl and Joseph. She and her husband Jack owned and operated a truck repair service.
Bella was loved by many people, her family, friends and people she recently met. Bella had many interests: gardening, reading, crossword puzzles and crocheting.
Bella requested to be cremated and returned to Trinidad.
She is survived by her sons: Kevin Sharrah, Karl (Tiffany) Sharrah and Joe (Marisa) Sharrah; siblings: Marguerite E. Romero, Tom (Carol) Romero, Mike (Sue) Romero, Gabe (Muriel) Romero, Frank (Irene) Romero, Chris (Gerry) Romero, Theresa (Jerry) Romero-Smith and Charlie Romero; aunt Rose Romero; cousin Margaret Trujillo. Preceded in death by her parents Jose E.V. and Lucy Romero and her husband Jack Mayfield. Rosary will be at 7:00 PM at Newcomer Family Chapel West, 901 S.
