Benjamin Lucero, 84, of Denver. Passed away March 19, 2007. Husband of Betty M. Lucero. Father of Bernard (Shirley) Lucero, Gilbert Lucero, Gerald Lucero, Connie Lucero, Judy (Arnold) Gomez and Ermelinda (Manuel) Alvarado. Grandfather of Vincent, Benji, Joseph, Leanne, Richell, Melissa, Tara Prasad, Sollita, Bobby, Brian Gomez, Kim Archuleta, Shawn Goodwin, Adrian Goodwin, Angel Goodwin and Nicole Najera; 21 Great-grandchildren; Brother of Eloy (Alice) Lucero, Frank (Carmen) Lucero, Richard (Joyce) Lucero, Eugene (Virginia) Lucero, Dorothy (Frank) Carillo, the late Josephine Singh and the late Valintine Lucero. Son of the late Bernardino and the late Marina Lucero. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Recitation of the Rosary, Monday, March 26, 2007 at 7:00P.M. at the Newcomer Family Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel. Funeral Mass, Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 9:00A.M. at St. Cajetan's Catholic Church, 299 So. Raleigh St., Denver, Rev. Tomas Fraile, C.R., officiating. Interment, Fort Logan National Cemetery, with Military Honors by the United States Army and the All Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Bobby Gomez, Brian Gomez, Benji Lucero, David Lucero, Gary Lucero, Joseph Lucero, Kenny Lucero and Vincent Lucero.
