Maria Bennie Espinosa Castellanos
Bennie passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family on February 22, 2023. She went to be with her Heavenly Father, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 84 years young after a long battle with AML.
Born in Trinidad, CO on July 8, 1938, to Jose Elieso and Cedelia Espinosa.
Predeceased by John her loving husband of 61 years, son John Benjamin, and grandson Eric Matthew.
Survived by daughters Virgina Trujillo and Sandra (Cliff) Ceimet.
Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Corrine, Stephen (Katie), John (Alisa), James (Cindy), Krista, Matthew (Victoria); great grandchildren Gabryel, Isabella, Jaidyn, Brenden, John Michael, Alyssa, Dominic, Elijah, Naomi, and many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Saint Anthony of Padua community who helped fill her days with prayer, friendship, peace, hope, and faith.
Visitation will be held at Saint Anthony's of Padua on Friday March 3, 2020

Reception/lunch will follow the mass at the church hall.
Bennie will be laid to her final rest next to her husband on Monday March 6th at 12:30pm at
Grand View Cemetery, Fort Collins, Colorado.
