Bennie went peacefully to the Lord on January 1, 2011 in Denver, CO. She was born August 23, 1923 to Rosendo and Olojia Maestas in Ensenada, NM. She is survived by her loving children Nancy (Jose) Martinez, Joe (Veena) Maestas, Gloria (Bob) Meehan and Maryann (Bobo) Getts; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and 14 great great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband Abel; parents Rosendo and Olojia and all of her siblings. Memorial service Friday, January 14, 2011, 6 P.M. at Newcomer West Metro Chapel.
