Bernadine Gail Schobinger

Our family is deeply saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our beloved matriarch, Bernadine Gail Schobinger, on Friday, January 31st. Affectionately known as Bernie, she was born on April 24, 1943, in New England, North Dakota, to loving parents Lloyd and Bernice Jalbert. She grew up alongside her siblings Jerome, Gary, and Lavonne. A bright, active and accomplished student, Bernie served as vice president of her graduating class in 1961 and was honored as Homecoming Queen in both her junior and senior years.

Shortly after graduation, she married Harold Schobinger, and together they built a beautiful life, sharing 63 wonderful years filled with love and devotion. For nearly 25 years, Bernie and Harold successfully owned and operated a painting company, a testament to their hard work and partnership.

Bernie was a proud and caring mother to Roxanne, Rhonda, Troy, and Jason. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Harold; her children, Roxanne, Troy, and Jason; and eight cherished grandchildren.

Though she now reunites in peace with her daughter Rhonda and granddaughter Karra, Bernie’s love and spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. She would want us to embrace life fully, cheering on those whose stories are still being written
