Bernice A. Jalbert, 82, of Lakewood passed away on May 24, 2002. She was born on January 31, 1920 in Watertown, South Dakota. She worked as a dairy farmer.
Bernice is survived by her sons Jerome (Shirley) and Gary (Linda), daughter Bernadine (Harold), sister Frances and brother Vern (Esther), 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter LaVonne Fields.
Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, May 28 at 2:00 PM at Newcomer Family Chapel. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, May 30, 2002 at 11:00 AM at Rainy Butte Cemetery in Hettinger County, North Dakota.
