Berta Alexander, 85, of Denver, passed away January 23, 2021.
She was born April 29, 1935 in Trier, Germany, the daughter of Frederich and Katerina (Boffel) Gasteier.
Berta loved to go to amusement parks, taking trips to Las Vegas and playing cards, bingo and dominoes. She was an accomplished seamstress and excellent baker.
Berta is survived by niece, Beatrice (Floyd) Calvert; niece, Toyan Calvert; nephew, Dominic Calvert and nephew, Hans (Dawn) Logan; great-nephews Angelo Gordon and Mason Lagrimanta; great-nieces, Alina Gordon and Layani Calvert; brother, Gunter Gasteier and several nieces and nephews in Germany.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David "Alex" Alexander; father, Frederich Gasteier; mother, Katerina Gasteier and sister, Lina Logan.
