Bessy Joy Macy 97 0f Englewood, Colorado, passed away on January 26. She was born to Roy and Bessie Macy on August 23,1924. She was born in Logan, Utah and later moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she grew up.
Joy graduated from Girls Trade and Technical High School. From there she accomplished many things in life: She was CNA Certified. She received a Certificate for Doctor in Naturopathy, Nutritional Counseling and Master Herbalist.
She worked as a distributor for doTerra.
In her earlier years, Joy learned and taught Greek. She went to college to become a school teacher because of her love for children. She taught grades K-9. Her love for children ran so deep. When she wasn't teaching, she volunteered her time in Awanas, Sunday School or helping out in Junior Church.
Joy was definitely a little go- getter. She loved the outdoors, the "beauty of God's Creation" she would say. She even took a class with National Geographic so she could learn and know the names of the different types of plants, flowers and trees.
Joy had lots of church family and friends that she spent a lot of time with telling them stories of her life experiences. She loved going for walks, having picnics in the park, Bible study with other believers. Joy believed that the most important thing in life was knowing the Word of God and sharing with others what Jesus had accomplished for her on the Cross which is the gift of eternal life.
