Obituary for Beth W. Milliken
Beth Winifred Milliken of Fort Lupton, Colorado passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 6. 2020. She was born to Benjamin and Goldie Remsen on April 5, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. They moved to Denver Colorado when Beth was a young child where she attended Denver Public schools and graduated from West High School in 1945. Beth met her future husband Kenneth Eugene Milliken while attending West High School and they were married in September 1946 while Ken was on leave from the Navy. Beth and Ken lived in the Denver metro area until Ken's passing in December 2004. In February 2008 Beth remarried William P. Lober and she relocated to Lakewood, Colorado until William's passing.
Beth worked and retired from the Federal Government as an auditor of foreign pay and achieved the ranking of a GS 13 which was the highest ranking a civilian could hold at the time without a college degree.
After retirement Beth and Ken spent there winters in Manzanillo, Mexico. Beth loved to travel and spent her retirement years doing as much traveling as possible. Family meant everything to Beth and always came first in everything she did. Beth also enjoyed her church family at Grace Covenant Church in Lakewood, Colorado.
Beth is preceded in death by her son Michael Milliken. She is survived by her daughter Celeste of Fort Lupton, Colorado, her son-in-law James Gregory and her sister Francis Warren of Denver, CO. In addition, Beth had 6 grandchildren, 14 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Beth was buried with her husband Ken Milliken at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
