Betty K. Renz

Betty Katharine Morrison (Renz), age 87, passed away on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019. She was born to the late Charles Morrison and Katharine Fox Morrison on October 3rd, 1931 in Longmont, CO.

Betty attended a small country school with an 8th grade graduating class of 5 children, before attending and graduating from Arvada High School in 1950. She was an active member in her church and in the community. She taught Bible lessons to inner-city kids for 17 years and was a leader in Bible Study Fellowship for 41 years.

Some of Betty's hobbies were raising and showing Japanese Koi, raising Pomeranians and traveling to hunt for rocks and precious gems. She enjoyed gardening and being in her yard sitting near the Koi pond she built with her own hands.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Dean, and is survived by her three children, six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Betty will be buried alongside her husband at Fort Logan National Cemetery. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her and for coming out to celebrate her life with us. There will be a reception following the service where we can all share some or our favorite memories of Betty.
