Betty Yearwood, 76 of Wheat Ridge passed away on Friday, October 3, 2008. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Carlos Yearwood; children: Wanda (John) Smith and Derek Yearwood; grandchildren: Travis (Michelle) MacColl and Kasie (Larry) Novissimo; great grandchildren: Rachelle & Victoria MacColl; sister-in-law, Joyce Grant; niece, Dawn Rice and nephew Clint Dillingham and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Ford and Lottie Dillingham and brother Joseph Dillingham.
Visitation, Thursday, October 9, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM; Funeral Service, Friday, October 10, 2008 at 1:30 PM both at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80226. Interment to follow at Arvada Cemetery, 5581 Independence, Arvada, CO 80002.
Memorial Donations suggested to University of Colorado Cancer Research Center, 1665 Ursula St., Aurora, CO 80045.
