Beverley A. Holt, 84, of Wheat Ridge, passed away December 5, 2019.
She was born November 8, 1935 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Waldemar and Flora (Schmidt) Gebhard. Flora worked for the May Company and Waldemar worked as a baker and retired from the Brown Palace Hotel. Beverley was a graduate of South High School and attended the Colorado Woman's College. On July 29, 1955 she married Joe Holt, at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, Colorado, and were married for 51 years. The last four years of Beverley's life were spent with her best friend and significant other, Ted Shearer, splitting time between Montrose and Wheat Ridge.
Beverley loved traveling, camping and off-roading, board games and cards (as long as she was winning), and baking cookies, cakes and pies. She was a member of the South Gate Chapter #104 of the Order of the Eastern Star and Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Beverley is survived by her children, Joe Thomas Holt Jr.(Debra Lynne) and Cindy Tate (Scott Andrew); significant other, Theodore L. Shearer; grandchildren, David Bondarchuck (Carl Goolsby), Ryan Holt (Michelle), Allison Smith (Owen), Sarah Gosselin (Phillip), and Stefan Holt; and great-grandchildren, Duane Smith, Owen Smith, Aliyah Smith, Dakota Holt, Coral Holt, Adelynne Gosselin, Penelope Gosselin, and Keaton Gosselin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Thomas Holt; and parents, Waldemar and Flora Gebhard.
