Beverly Ann Gaiser
Extremely knowledgeable and avid sports fan
Loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother,
great grandmother and friend.
January 4, 1932 - March 15, 2019
Beverly Ann Gaiser was born to Jolly and Elsie Knight, January 4, 1932, in Denver, Colorado. Beverly graduated from Alameda High School in 1949 and married George W. Gaiser that same year.
Bev and George lived on the Gaiser family farm where she helped George's mom with chores and feeding the hired hands. In 1957 they moved to Broomfield for a brief time and then, in 1959, to their house in Wheat Ridge, where Bev lived until 2016. Bev enjoyed working for Jefferson County Schools Food Services, where she moved up the ranks to become head dietitian. Sacrificing career for family, Beverly later chose to stay at home to be a full-time mom and homemaker.
After George's retirement Bev and George enjoyed many adventures traveling and camping with their very good friends from the Lakewood Church of Christ. Bev and George enjoyed 59 wonderful years together until George's death in 2006. In 2016 Bev moved to Meridian Westland and quickly became involved in many social activities. She loved living at the Meridian and met many dear friends whom she cherished. When it was realized she needed more assistance, she moved to Applewood Place.
Beverly is survived by her children Bonnie (husband Len) Foster, Scott (wife Heidi) Gaiser, grandsons CJ (wife Kayte) Foster, Colin and Jeremiah Gaiser and great grandsons Vinny and Owen Foster. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jolly and Elsie Knight, brothers George Lee, Harold, Clarence and sister Claudia.
The Gaiser family extends our deep appreciation to all of mom's friends who encouraged and supported her in many ways throughout the final months of her life. We are also grateful for the staff at Meridian Westland, Applewood Place and CNA Angelique, who went beyond what was expected to care for Mom with love and compassion. Mary her caregiver was also a great friend to Bev and she was instrumental in helping her stay at Westland as long as she was able. We also are grateful for the love and extra attention Tassia gave mom as her Hospice nurse.
Mom was so blessed by so many friends, but none as much as Joe Hall. He was a cherished friend and companion. Through common experiences and care for each other, they forged a very special friendship over the years. Mom was so grateful to be included in many Hall family gatherings. In good times and in the rough times at the end Joe was always there for Mom, for which we are forever grateful.
A "Remembrance Celebration" for family and friends will be held at Brookdale Meridian Westland, 10695 W 17th Ave, Lakewood, CO, on Monday, March 25, at 1:30 PM.
