Beverly Kaye Kistler

Bev Kistler, 81, passed from this life and went to her eternal home on December 6th, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born in Beloit, Wisconsin on November 2, 1942. She is survived by her loving, devoted husband, William L Kistler; her son and daughter-in-law Steve and Jeanette Kistler; daughter and son-in-law, Barb and Randy Lone; sister, Eileen Sturtevant; brother, Dennis Sowatzke; sister-in-law, Marlene Cozart; brother-in-law; Grant Kistler, grandaughter Sarah Lone, grandaughter and grandson-in-law, Jess and Josh Chavez; two Great Granddaughters, one Great Grandson, 12 nieces and nephews, cousins and many treasured friends.Bev grew up in Wisconsin and treasured her special times with her Grandparents and Aunt.
She moved to Colorado in 1958, met William on a blind date and married March 5, 1960. She was a preschool teacher for many years and touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her loving, supportive and giving spirit. She had a way of making everyone feel loved and special. She loved camping, family times, music, playing the autoharp and holidays! Was an active member of Ascension Lutheran Church for over 55 years serving on the Ladies Guild, playing in the Handbell Choir and treasured her Church family as well. Her Faith was such a gift to all that knew her, she walked with her Lord every day of her life and was always there to pray with you and offer her support and encouragement. She will be missed by so many but we will carry her in our hearts until we meet again!
