Beverly Sue Wilson Secord

Beverly Sue Wilson Secord, 93, of Aurora, passed away March 2, 2021.
She was born June 25, 1927 in Quenemo, Kansas, the daughter of Luther and Lois (Oldaker) Gunter.
Beverly was a graduate of Aurora High School.
She married Tommy Wilson and he passed away on June 25, 1972. She later married David Secord.
Beverly was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church of Aurora where she was the church secretary. She also volunteered in the medical library at the Medical Center of Aurora.
In later years, Beverly enjoyed reading and playing solitaire on her tablet. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was an expert storyteller. She was an awesome cook and baker.
Beverly is survived by son, Rick (Jane) Wilson; daughter, Pam (Chuck) Gilbert; 6 grandchildren, Brad (Julie) Wilson, Heidi (Brian) Lyster, Tim (Stacey) Wilson, Ashley (Kolin) Johnston, Ryan Gilbert and Chad Gilbert; 13 great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by son, Larry Wilson; husband Tommy Wilson; father, Luther Gunter; mother, Lois Gunter and three brothers, Jack, Jim and Gary Gunter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
