Beverly Ann Ward

Beverly Ann Ward was born on March 11, 1943 to Lester and Eva Scribner. She passed away on December 31, 2022 at the age of 79. Lester, Dwaine, and Willis were her three brothers, and Martha and Sue were her two sisters. On April 4, 1963, Beverly and Marvin Allen Ward got married. Greg and Jamie (Aleita) were their two children. She has five grandchildren Tannya, Brook (Jeremy), Chance, Kayla and Kianna and six great grandchildren Genesis, Tatiana, Rylin, Stetson, Kai, and Jaden and so many more that called her "Grandma Bev".

Bev worked for the water board in the 80's and then watched her grandchildren full time. Once they started middle school Bev and her sister Sue established their own cleaning company. During these years she still managed to continue her mothers drapery and sewing business after her mom passed away. Bev was very active in her church and spread her faith at every opportunity. Bev also enjoyed gardening and maintaining her lawn by herself.

When it came to her grandchildren's activities, Bev was always involved. She attended almost all of their football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, and hockey games. She has been following sports for more than 50 years, starting with watching her own boys play sports and subsequently her grandchildren. Over the past ten years, she has also enjoyed watching her son Jamie and her grandchildren Brook and Jeremy race.

Bev was also known for her "cherry cheesecake". If you were lucky enough to ever enjoy a piece you would understand why Bev brought this to every family gathering since we can remember.

She was a lovely mother, grandma, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone. She will be missed greatly.
