Bob was a man of many passions and talents. Following in his father's footsteps he became a master of barbecue, known for his mouthwatering ribs, brisket, and turkey, along with a signature barbecue sauce that brought joy to countless gatherings. His culinary skills were matched only by his love for sports, particularly the Broncos, Rockies, and Nuggets. We'll always remember how he would immerse himself in games, often watching one on television and listening to the other on the radio at the same time.
Bob's interests extended far beyond the kitchen and the sports arena. He found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life- whether it was spending time with his family, going up to Blackhawk, enjoying the warmth of a fireplace, or occasionally going to happy hour with his daughters.
In the last chapter of his life, Bob found a love and companionship with Hazel, and together they dreamed of new adventures and travels, never wanting to postpone the joys of life.
As we bid Farwell to Bob, we carry with us the memories of his laughter, his warmth, and his unwavering love. Although he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit lives in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. May we honor his legacy by living each day with the same zest for life and love that he exemplified.
Rest in peace, Bobbie L. Edmonson. You will be deeply missed, but your memory will forever be cherished.
