Bobby Dean Braning

In Loving Memory of Bobby Dean Braning, 67, of Thornton, Colorado.

Beloved husband of Janice Braning. Wonderful Father of Kimberly (Bobby) Jackson. Proud Papa of Justin, Jace, Jake and Josh. Brother of Sharon (Randy) Davidson and Gary (Chris) Braning. Son-in-law of Rivers Smith, from MS. Nephew of Bud and Bev Braning. Also survived by nephews, numerous cousins, and other family members, friends and great neighbors that loved him very much.

He was born and raised in Golden, Colorado and growing up he had good memories of working hard and playing hard. He loved playing ball and would always talk about the good ole' times down at the ball field. He worked over 18 years at the feedlot, taking care of hundreds of cattle, and this is where he and Jan would raise their daughter, Kimberly. When the feedlot was sold, he went to work for a company that manufactured water control gates and gave them over 17 years of his hard work. He was married to Jan for 44 years and loved his family very much. He loved fishing, gardening, going to the vegetable market with his daughter and loved his grandsons. He liked spending time in his garage, gathering, splitting, and stacking wood for his wood stove. and was always busy doing something.

His favorite saying was "Git-R-Done" and he worked every day of his life as it might be his last. He will always be remembered and we will always have lasting memories of the funny things he would say and the funny stories he would tell. He was kind and giving and when he liked you well, you had a friend for life.
