Bobby L Hakenkamp

Bobby (Bob) Hakenkamp, 80 passed away January 8, 2020. He was born to the late Tony and Inez Hakenkamp in McCook, Nebraska. He married the late Rosalee (Rosie) Hakenkamp in 1963, and lived together in Colorado.

Bob was an honorably discharged Veteran from the United States Navy in October 1959 and served aboard troop carrier ship. He worked and retired from the City & County of Denver as a Superintendent of the Fleet Maintenance department. He loved to travel in his motorhome on wheels with his wife Rosie and their favorite destination was Spearfish, South Dakota.

Bob is survived by two children: Laura Harmon of Littleton, Colorado and Brenda Kirtley of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Jennifer Davis of Strasburg, Colorado, Nicole Wanca of Littleton, Colorado, and Jayme Kirtley of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three great-grandchildren, and one on the way.

The viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home from 8:30 am to 9:30 am Tuesday – January 14, 2020. Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home following the viewing.
