Brent Boulter

February 26, 1968 — June 1, 2024

Brent Boulter, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away June 1st, 2024, in Grand County, Colorado, at the age of 56. He was born February 26th, 1968 in Loup City, Nebraska and spent most of his childhood in Greeley, Colorado.

At the age of 19, Brent enlisted into the United State Navy and served his country for five years as a Corpsman at the Naval Hospital in Oakland, California. During his time in the Navy he also served on the USS Belleau Wood (LHA-3) as a part of the surgical support team.

Following his honorable discharge from the Navy, Brent's passion for serving others led him to pursue his career in the medical field where he worked at Stanford University Hospital as a surgical technician. There he developed an interest in Orthopedics. In 1994, drawn back to his roots in Colorado, Brent met his future wife Suzanne where the two worked together in the surgical department.

Brent was adventurous and loved spending time outdoors. Whether it was camping, fishing, or hiking, he enjoyed the Colorado Mountains. He was an avid baseball fan, and while he lived in Colorado, his favorite team was the Tampa Bay Rays. Brent had a passion for music; he enjoyed listening to various bands on vinyl, though he was a devoted fan of the iconic band U2.

Brent had a great love for his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, especially cheering on the grandkids in various sports activities from football and soccer, to volleyball.

He is survived by his loving wife; Suzanne Boulter, his daughters; Ally Boulter, and Emily (Chris) Burgett, his son; Jonathan (Jessica) Fackler, his grandchildren; Phoenix, Jace, Reese, Hazel, and River, his sisters; Janette Johnson, Kristine Slavin, and Stephanie Wageman, and his brother; Travis Blackwell.
