Buell Arthur Davis
Buell Davis was born on May 28, 1936 in Washington DC to his late parent's Arthur Buell Davis and Katie Marie Waters. He grew up with his siblings but his grandmother is the one who raised him. There were six siblings born in the family. He was raised and surrounded by his late brothers James Davis, Ronald Davis, Gerald Davis, and surviving sister's Lorraine Howard, Ruth Brown all from Rockville Md.
He joined the Air Force right after High School in Rockville Maryland! He spent the next four years serving our country! After getting out of the service he landed in Denver Co. He was employed at Martin Marietta for several years before eventually relocating to Honolulu HI! He worked at the Naval Shipyard Pearl Harbor Hawaii. He held down several positions on this job traveled to many countries. He definitely saw the world. He enjoyed traveling. He lived in Hawaii for 50 plus years. Retiring from Shop 51 Naval Shipyard Pearl Harbor Hawaii!
He would still come back to Denver Co to visit his daughters and his long time friends twice a year! He was a good golfer he played three times a week and entered tournaments with his buddies.
He had eight grandchildren, two great grandsons, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
He was very jovial. He had a good sense of humor loved to laugh, he loved dancing, he loved a good steak dinner, and loved Hawaii. He would always say that he lived in paradise!
Buell Arthur Davis departed this life in the early morning on August 25, 2022 in Denver, Colorado. Those who cherish his memories and mourn his loss including daughters Sayonara Davis Denver Colorado, Michelle Satchell Aurora Colorado, Denice Hudson Marion,Ohio, and Monica Drone Rosenberg, Texas, sister's Lorraine Howard Rockville Md. and Ruth Brown Rockville Md.
He had a great life and YES he did it his way!!!!
Weep not for me through I am gone into that gentle night. Grieve if you will but not for long upon my soul sweet fight. I am at peace my soul at rest. There is no need for tears for with your love I was blessed for all those years.
