November 4, 1934 — November 7, 2022

Life Of B.C. Shockley

He was born to Elmer and Fannie (Berry) Shockley. He was born in a barn turned into a home, abut 3 miles west of Needmore, Texas. His dd was a share crop farmer in West, Texas, just thirty miles from the New Mexico line.

Dad had a lot of experiences living on a farm, plus dust bowls being in West, Texas. The wind would blow talcum fine sand throughout the house.

Dad gave his heart to the Lord at age 6. He saw manly miracles and healings throughout his life. At age 88, he never wavered or gave up the faith, during his last breath.

At a young age, he joined the Army Reserves in Cloves, New Mexico. He was injured while unloading a truck, when a fellow solider lost his end of the crate. The Army released him, so dad went over to Texas and joined the active National Guard. Eventually, the military caught up to him and gave him an Honorable Medical Discharge.

Though he only had an 8th grade education, in 1950 he went to Southwestern Bible College. Like his 2 older brothers Ray and Roy. He received his minister credentials. Shortly after that he started traveling with Evangelists Haggen, Gorden Linsey, Roy M. Stewart and others. He would drive the truck town to town, he helped sewing up the tents and equipment and taking care of the tent while sleeping inside. After the services, he and others would tear it down and drive to the next town.

B.C. preached some Evangelist meeting and traveled with Charles Chestney in Texas and Oklahoma, and Colorado We saw many miracles from Gourder's falling off into the hand, growth on the side of a little girls nose the size of a marble just disappear, a little girl's leg grows 6 inches with in 20 minutes. The Doctors were so dumb founded, because everything they tried the girls brace was 6 inches to short, to casting out demons.

In 1954, He married Joyce Heisch and moved to Portales, New Mexico, where he built a house for the church for the Pastor to live in. Joyce and B.C. pastored a church in Dora, New Mexico. He did this in addition to building homes.

Dad and Roy and Ray went to Clovis, New Mexico and built 2 homes; one he sold for $7000 and the other one we moved into. This started the family in the construction business.

Around 1955-56, Roy moved to Denver in the construction business. He told B.C to move up to Denver. In 1956 he moved to Denver, and also started his business. Shortly thereafter, Elmer (dad) and Fannie moved to Denver in the construction business.

B. C. and Joyce (Heisch) were married in Clovis, New Mexico on November 10, 1954. They had one boy, Ronald Shockley, born November 1956, and one girl Rene' Shockley (Botterbusch) born in January 1960.

We started attending Central Assembly of God Church in Denver, where he took over the children's church for 17 years. Then Calvary Temple called and wanted me to pastor the children there. We had about 200-250 kids at a service. Being an avid puppeteer and marionette. e built elaborate sets and told Bible stories using different Puppets and Marionettes. It would mesmerize them. IHe never had a problem with not one child. What a Blessing! He did this for 3 and a half years.

When Ar and An Trotter came to Denver, he started going to Christ Church First Assembly of God. Four weeks after we made the change both of our children received the Lord and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. What a wonderful Day in a parent's life!

Pastor Trotter was a Powerful Pentacostal Preacher. We were under his ministry for 17 ears.

Jesus paid for everything to Redeem us from sins and sickness. He paid for i, and won every Victory from Satan!

Jesus is a source of Everything Good!

Jesus: on the cross is the means of everything we receive by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit has legal right to work with you in the Rim of what Jesus did on the cross, to sanctify us with Victory. B.C. Shockley
