Carl I. Agee, 92, of Arvada, Colorado, passed away January 4, 2008. He was born Dec. 18, 1915 in Princeton, Indiana, and grew up in Decker, Indiana, graduating from Decker High School in 1932. Prior to WWII he worked various jobs including driving produce trucks from farms to markets in Chicago and New York City and then in the steel mills in Gary, Indiana. He served in the Army Air Corps as an airplane maintenance technician for almost five years during WWII and married Valentine Pea on Aug. 13, 1941. After the war he worked in auto repair and sales in Vincennes, Indiana, prior to moving to Evansville, Indiana, where he worked in several factories finishing his career at Holsclaw Boat Trailer Manufacturing where he worked his way up from the loading dock to inventory control and procurement. After retirement he moved to Buena Vista, Colorado, to be closer to his son and grandchildren. After 15 years in the Colorado mountains he moved to Arvada, Colorado, in 1998. He was preceded in death by brothers Louis and Kenneth. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Valentine; his son, J. Carl (Martha); grandchildren John, Sarah, Rebecca, and Stephen; and sisters Betty Davis and Jean Fisher. A memorial service is being held at Grace Fellowship of Lakewood at 10:00 am on Friday, January 11. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Fellowship Missions Fund.
