It is with great sorrow that we announce that Carmen M. Bargas of Denver slipped away in death on Monday evening, February 1, 2021. At the age of 99 Carmen was known for her love for bingo and weekly poker games with her family. She had a great sense of humor and was sure to put a smile on your face. She was a lifelong Catholic and will always be remembered for her strong faith.
She is survived by her son Robert Bargas, daughter Martha (Auggie) Sanchez and daughter Loretta Gonzales. She is also survived by more than 35 grandchildren, more than 55 great-grandchildren and with numerous great-great-grandchildren. Carmen had one sister Ramona Marquez (husband Pete) and one brother Fred Rangel (wife Angie) who preceded her in death along with her children Rosie Lydon, Tom Bargas (wife Peggy), Ruth Sena (husband Manuel), Julie Quinones, and son-in-law Floyd Gonzales.
She will be truly remembered by all her family and friends. She was a great Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Friend. She will be dearly missed.
