Carmen Patricia "Pat" Peters, 90, of Denver, passed away August 19, 2019.
She was born January 27, 1929 in New Mexico, the daughter of Jose and Clara (Torres) Gonzales.
On August 29, 1971, she married George G. Peters.
Pat was a parishioner at St. Therese Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a volunteer for Catholic Charities for 15 years. Pat also owned her own beauty shop, Patricia's Paradise. Pat also donated her time and talents with Aurora Housing to provide hair services to low-income Seniors.
Pat will be remembered for her generous and giving personality. Her independence was the cornerstone of her unique personality, but being surrounded by loved ones is what she prized the most. She would light candles for anyone she met and took time out of her day to visit the elderly and friends.
Carmen is survived by two grandchildren, Marcus Wolf and Stephon Wolf; sister, Josephine; two nieces, Maya and Diane and many extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, George Gomer Peters; two sons, Keith Scott Wolf and Joseph Paul Wolf; father, Jose Gonzales and mother, Clara Gonzales.
Memorial contributions may be made in Pat's name to St. Therese Catholic Church.
