Carol Mae Neal, 74, of Denver, passed away August 21, 2018.
She was born January 22, 1944 in Columbus, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Cecile (Weisensel) Berg. She grew up in Watertown, Wisconsin and then Lakewood, Colorado where she was a graduate of Holy Family High School. She eventually moved to Byers, where she lived for 45 years and raised her family.
Carol is survived by her children, Jay (Cindy) Porter, Tammy Porter, Shane (Margaret) Porter, Pamela (Dan) Goldberg, and Mark (Lisa) Porter; numerous grandchildren; and her siblings Suzanne (Richard) Hughes, Mary Lou (Norman) McAtee, Jerry (Karen) Berg, Thomas (Melanya) Berg, and Leann Montoya . She is preceded in death by her father, William Berg, her mother, Cecile Berg, and her brothers, William Berg Jr. and Joseph Berg.
Following the reception at the church, a celebration of life memorial gathering will be held at Windsor Gardens Centerpoint, 597 S. Clinton St., Denver, CO 80247, from 4:00-6:30 PM.
