Carolyn Susan (Gillikin) Chenoweth, was born on June 11, 1940 on Staten Island, New York. She was the 5th child born to John L Gillikin and Maime R (Lamm) Gillikin. Among her own immediate family she will join her husband, Charles E Chenoweth and two sons, Stephen J Chenoweth and Gregory C Chenoweth.

Over her 81 years she would paint, draw and write poetry. She loved singing in the church choir, and being on a bowling league. Her favorite insect was the beloved butterfly. Going on long drives was one of her most loved past time with her husband, Charles, and staying up in Estes Park for their anniversary.
