Surrounded by his loving family, Sid, 78, went peacefully to his heavenly home with the Lord Jesus August 16, 2007. Predeceased by his dear wife, Annette; father to Larry Mitchell, Mark Mitchell (Jeng), Carol Hendry, Andrew Hendry (Kelli), Jenny Stewart (John), and Michael McMahan (Pat); granddad to Cynthia Jorgensen (Chris), Tiffany Burstow (Tim), Andrew Jr., Madilyn, and Sidney Hendry; proud brother to Charles Hendry (June); brother in grace and law to Dick and Margaret Patty; adored Uncle Sid, cousin, and Bapa; missionary to the military with Overseas Christian Servicemen's Centers (Cadence). His sweet spirit, life of prayer, unconditional love, eternal eyes, and blessings (on you) leave a deep legacy for all. Victory in Jesus! Viewing will be held at Newcomer Family Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel on Monday, August 20, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM; Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Mission Hills Church.
