Casey Michelle Miller, 47, of Aurora, Colorado , passed away on July 14, 2020 in Aurora.
Casey was born in Denver to Robin and Steve Waugh on November 12, 1972. She attended High School at Overland High School, Class of 1991, and then attended Colorado State University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in accounting, class of 1996. She was married to Shaun Miller on November 8, 2017 in Aurora. She was involved in competitive pool with long-time friends; enjoyed attending rock and country music concerts; and spending time out in the sun by the lake during the summers with her family. She was an accomplished pool player and placed in several tournaments throughout her life.
Casey is preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents; her niece, Katie Senecal; and her first husband, Ben Pius.
Casey is survived by her daughter, Kyra Ellis; her husband, Shaun Miller; her sisters, Lori Senecal and Susan Anderson; her parents, Steve and Robin Waugh; and so many friends and extended family she loved dearly.
The family is having a small private gathering to celebrate Casey's life. She is being cremated and will stay with her family.
Rather than cards and flowers, the family would love for donations to be made to organizations dedicated to helping those with diabetes or MS.
