Catherine Ann Eshelman

Catherine Ann Eshelman, 60, went home to her eternal resting place on September 2, 2023 after an extensive battle with lung cancer.
Cathy was born on December 23rd, 1962 in Aurora, CO to Beverly and Ed Limes. Cathy graduated high school from Gateway High School in Aurora. She married Thomas Eshelman in 1990 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The two moved back to Aurora in 1992, where they remained ever since. She is survived by her daughter Grace McCune (Eshelman), and son Paul Eshelman.
Cathy spent most of her adult life as a stay-at-home mother, caring for children, and volunteering. Cathy was known as "Mimi" to her two grandchildren Lydia and Wesley McCune, whom she loved dearly. Cathy thought her greatest accomplishment was caring for her own grandchildren, but, in fact, it proved to be the many, many people whose lives she touched positively. Her life's work was caring, and through babysitting and volunteering she was able to impact scores of families.
Services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 12th at St. Pius X Catholic Church, a parish that her parents helped found and she was involved with for her entire life.
