Cecelia A. Foreman

Cecelia A. Foreman, 95, of Leadville, CO. Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph and daughters, Geraldine Robison and Virginia Power.

Mrs. Foreman died March 25, 2008 in Lakewood, CO

She was born in Westcliffe, CO on November 28, 1912 to Moritz and Matilda brandenburg. She graduated from Canon City High School and shortly thereafter moved to Powderhorn, CO where she met and married Ralph.

They moved to Leadville, CO in 1933 and she lived in the same house for nearly 70 years. When her husband got sick, she began working at the Delaware Hotel and worked there for 40 years.

She is survived by her daughters Zoe Vigil of Denver and Liz Barkl of Leadville; grandchildren, Kenneth, Richard and Charles Robison, Valerie Taylor and Carol Robison-Brass, Elaine Mercado and Debbi Vigil, Bill and Colt Power, Peggy Llewellyn and Radonna Jenkins, Eugene Floyd and Sally Chasen; 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation, Wednesday, April 2, 2008 beginning at 11AM, followed by Funeral Service at 12 Noon, both at the Newcomer Family Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area / Shelter "B" at 1:30PM.
