Chalmers Andrew Steele Jr. born January 14, 1933 to Chalmers Andrew and Kate Elizabeth Steele in Clayton, Delaware Passed away on January 14, 2022. He was 1 of 8 children.
Mr. Steele served four years in the Army. When he retired in Aurora, Colorado he brought his wife Lillian (deceased) and four children to Aurora, Colorado. He worked at Blakes Auto Wrecking and A&A Auto before starting Steele Towing and Wrecking in Aurora.
In his spare time, Mr. Steele got in all the fishing he could. He enjoyed his two poodles, Charlene and DipStick along with his whole menagerie of farm pets. After retirement, he volunteered at the Food Bank and S. I. G. N.
He leaves behind four children, Chalmers Andrew III (Linda) Steele, Arlene (John) Ritteger, Roland (Linda) Steele and Susan (James) Novotne, eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, two brothers and ex-wife Nelda Jean and her family. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters.
