On December, 14, 2023, after a four year battle with various illnesses, Charisse Marie Collier passed away at the age of 36. Charisse, affectionately known as Reese, was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Charisse was born June 14, 1987 at 5:41 am in Denver, Colorado. Which is probably the earliest she ever got up considering she loved her sleep!
Throughout her childhood and teenage years, Charisse became a sweet, nurturing, funny and thoughtful young lady. Don't be fooled though, she was also a fiery, feisty, little fighter, that would give you what you were looking for!
Charisse was very intelligent and an amazing cook. She received multiple certificates for leadership and culinary arts. She was very close to getting her associate degree in psychology when she passed. All the schoolwork, studying and exams were completed during her fierce battle to survive. We all admired her for her tenacity and strength.
Charisse and Devin briefly dated in high school. They reconnected in 2007, and were married July 13, 2013. They were together until the very end. During their beautiful journey together, they had three children and she was a second mom to Devin's oldest child, who she quickly fell in love with. Charisse was always an incredible mother. She fought hard to be a good wife and mother, all while we could see how much the illnesses were taking a toll on her.
Charisse always had a smile and energy that could lighten any dark room. She will be remembered as a sweet and kind person . She leaves her sweet memories and love with her husband, Devin; her children, Nei'Omi, Kalea, Jay'Lah and Devin Jr.; her mother, Sondra; her sisters, Chaunte and Patrice; numerous nieces and nephews, Javon, Jaiden, Amaya, Deshawn, Jazmine, Kenny Jr., Tatiyana, and Ben; her In-laws, Alfred and Laura; brother-in-law, Darian; and grandparents, Al and Jackie. Charisse had some great best friends, who loved her deeply.
Charisse, we all love you and miss you desperately our sweetest, Reese. Rest well now, our angel and know we will keep family and friends close, in love.
