Charles A. Williams, 97, of Aurora, passed away on Tuesday October 17th, 2023.
He was born to the late Charles W. and Ethel Williams, September 27, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was educated through High School by the St. Louis public school system. Charles married the late Elinor "Deanie" Harris in 1955, and they lived together in various locations as he served in the Air Force until settling in Denver, Colorado in 1969.
Charles was a career military man, who served 2 years in the Navy and 26 years in the Air Force, retiring in 1972 with the rank of Master Sergeant. After retiring from military service, he went on to work in Civil Service for 15 years.
He was a self taught mechanic, and restored many classic automobiles such as 1955- 1965 Ford Thunderbirds and 1960's era Ford Mustangs.
Charles is survived by his Son Eric of Greenwood Village.
