Charlotte Amelia Geisert

Charlotte Amelia Geisert, 97, of Aurora, passed away March 29, 2021.
She was born February 23, 1924 in Winchester, Massachusetts, the daughter of Peter and Victoria (Olson) Benson. After she graduated high school, Charlotte received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Tufts University.
On May 5, 1950, she married Kenneth Merle Geisert.
Charlotte loved to play bingo and her trips to Central City. She enjoyed retirement with her husband and traveled to every state in the United States. She enjoyed puzzles, crosswords and games. She hated housework but will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be forever missed.
Charlotte is survived by three children, Vicki Ellen (Craig)Messer, Mark Andrew Geisert and Jill Diane (Vincent)Dodero; eight grandchildren: Melisa Geisert, Jeanne Sweet, Kyle Dodero, Dean Dodero, Courtney Geisert, Kellen Geisert, Shelby Geisert, Marshal Geisert and six great-grandchildren, Vincent, Brody, Micah, Tynlee, Bria and August.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Kenneth Merle Geisert; son, Peter Michael Geisert; father, Peter Algott Benson and mother, Victoria Jennie Benson.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America, 720 S Colorado Blvd, Penthouse North, Denver, CO 80246.
