Chelsea Moller
March 3, 1986 — May 3, 2021
Chelsea Alyson Moller was born on March 3, 1986 at Mercy Hospital in Denver. She left this earth on May 3, 2021 leaving a grieving mother, Meri Moller, her Grandmother, 5 aunts, 4 uncles and lots of cousins and friends. She was 35 years old.
She attended Wheeling Elementary and Aurora Hills Middle School and a year at Gateway High School in Aurora. Then she was home schooled by her Aunt, along with her cousins. She worked and put herself through Aurora Community College to get her Associate degree. She went on to get a degree in Fine Arts at Colorado State University with a concentration in fibers and metal work.
Chelsea worked many varied jobs in her life, often multiple jobs at once. If she didn't enjoy a job she found a different one. She was quite enterprising and developed means of employment on her own. Her last job was at Apex Disability Law Firm where she worked for 3 years and she very much enjoyed. She also worked at Brookdale Tamarac part time while she attended CSU.
She was very much an animal lover. Her favorites were a sheltie, a mule, a llama, but most of all sheep. She was very curious about all of God's living things.
She spent many years at The Urban Farm in Denver, competing with 4-H in Adams County and the National Western Stock Show. She also loved all aspects of gardening.
Chelsea was a member of the Rocky Mountain Weavers Guild for over 20 years. They taught her all manner of fiber. She enjoyed all of the arts and techniques and experimented with all of it. She loved to demonstrate and share her knowledge with others. During COVID, she learned how to make YouTube videos, and she filmed several instructional video's which can still be viewed today.
She has been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism for 3 years. (The Society for Creative Anachronism, or SCA, is an international living history group with the aim of studying and recreating mainly Medieval European cultures and their histories before the 17th century.) She made herself medieval costumes and she started a fiber study group to share. During COVID she learned how to play the penny whistle with a group on the internet.
She was a member of Corona Church and enjoyed the community and singing in the choir there.
Chelsea was an old soul in a young body. She never met a stranger that couldn't be a friend. She had a lot of compassion for others and wanted to share all the good things she experienced with everyone else. She was a gift from God from the very start and I had the privilege to be the one to share her with the world.
