Cherrie Casey

The family of Cherrie Sue (Putallaz) Casey of Aurora, Colorado, is heartbroken to announce her passing on Friday, August 5, 2022, at the age of 68.
Born December 21, 1953, to Joyce Hollingsworth and Daniel Putallaz in Denver, Colorado; she was a friend to everyone she met. She had an infectious smile that brightened up the room when she walked in. She never met an animal she didn't love. Cherrie always had at least two pets in her house, but would always welcome more. She had many jobs in her life; her favorite, and the one she was the proudest of was being a mother and a Mema.

Cherrie loved her family and friends more than life itself. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Tommy Casey, and children: Nick Guthrie and Tyler Guthrie. As well as her five grandchildren and numerous friends.

Celebration of life will be held on August 13, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 190 Potomac Ave, Aurora, CO 80011
