Cheryl Lenardon

May 2, 1953 — July 29, 2021

Cheryl Lee Lenardon, 68, of Aurora, CO, passed away July 29, 2021.

She was born May 2, 1953 in San Francisco, California, the daughter of Winston "Wink" and Marlene (Sturdevant) Creekpaum.

Cheryl loved being a mother and grandmother, but most of all, enjoyed spoiling her "babies". She was a true animal lover and derived great pleasure in feeding, watching and protecting all of the critters that came to call her yard home. Cheryl loved her home and particularly, spending time there with the family. In her earlier years, she enjoyed water sports and camping. Cheryl had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off her back, to help someone in need. She will be dearly missed.

She attended Oceana and Terra Nova High Schools in Pacifica, California and completed various college courses at Canada College and College of San Mateo.

On December 31, 1978, she married Robert Lenardon.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robert Lenardon; daughter, Sami Croft and her children, Brianna and Alexandra; son, Rob (Tina) Lenardon and their children, Taylor Garcia and Madison Garcia; three sisters, Lisa Creekpaum-Hern, Denise M. Creekpaum, and Chris Creekpaum and several nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by father, Winston Ernest Creekpaum; mother, Marlene Ruth Thompson; two brothers, Jay Dee Creekpaum and Douglas Creekpaum and sister, Rosanna DiSalvo Pete.

A celebration of life is being planned for late spring/early summer 2022 at her home in Aurora, Colorado.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Denver Dumb Friends League or the ASPCA.
