Cheryl Shackelford

Cheryl Kaye Armbruster Shackelford, 58, left to be with her heavenly father on March 20, 2005, after 22 years of a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Cheryl was born to William and Helen Armbruster on September 23, 1946. She had two children, John and Melissa Stretz. In 1979, she married the love of her life, Monte Shackelford, with whom she became the mother and friend to his children, Leslie Aznar, Julia Mendenhall and James Shackelford. She was the grandmother every child wanted to nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is survived by husband, Monte; children, John and Melissa; stepchildren, Leslie, Julia, and James; mother Helen; brothers, Dennis, Willy, and Bob and sister, Mary.
