Chris French, 49, of Aurora, passed away April 11, 2018.
Chris was born April 4, 1969 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Roger and Leonora (Capaldo) French. After graduating from Golden High School, he attended Regis University, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a double major in Creative Writing and Philosophy of Eschatology with Honors. On October 31, 1998 he married Linda Smith, of Golden, Colorado, and they got to spend over 20 wonderful years of love and friendship together. His daughter arrived in 1999 and simultaneously became the light in his eyes and the grey in his hair. For the past 20 years, Chris has been a loyal employee of the City of Englewood's Police Department. He was a loving son, brother and friend, always there to help in any way he could. Chris is a wonderful, loving soul who battled against his psychiatric disabilities every day, and devastatingly, he has lost the war.
Chris is survived by his wife, Linda French; daughter, Haley French; mother, Leonora French; and sister, Michelle Rabatin; and his pack of fur-babies. He is preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Roger and Judy French.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA at https://www.aspca.org/ or your local animal shelter.
