Christopher James Svec 1984-2023
On November 11th 2023, just shy of his 40th birthday, Christopher James Svec was taken from us too soon. Christopher was born in Macon Georgia on January 26th 1984 but spent most of his years in Colorado. At a young age he enjoyed playing soccer and baseball. He has always been a fan of video games, movies and the Kansas City Chiefs! He had an impressive collection of jerseys. He was able to make it to many games and was always ready to cheer on his team, even during the "rebuilding years". Christopher was a member of the Sons of American Legions, post 240 in Nebraska and enjoyed hunting and visiting family farms in Milligan. One thing people may not know about him is that he could carry a great tune at the karaoke bar! Christopher graduated from Northglenn High School and then went on to earn a bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from Metro State College. He loved to travel and was able to make many trips around the globe. He visited Europe, China, The Caribbean, Mexico, Victoria Island, and many trips to the beaches of Florida. Those fortunate enough to have known Christopher remember him as kind, smart and fun-loving. He was always there to make you laugh with his sarcastic sense of humor or he would school you on some trivia. He had a lot of knowledge in that brain of his! The Family plans on having a private Celebration Of Life in January to come together and share some memories of our time with him. Christopher is survived by his mother Anne Svec, his father James Svec, his sister and brother-in-law Amy and Chris Cook, his nephews Owen and Lucas Cook and countless extended family across the U.S that he had maintained loving relationships with.
