Cindy Habernal

Cynthia Renia Habernal
March 17, 1969 - June 4, 2010

Cindy was born Cynthia Renia Baker in Denver, CO. She lived in Lakewood with her father James Frances Baker, mother Ramona Marie Chavez and her sister Angela Marie Baker for 7 years. Once her parents split up Cindy lived with her father for two years before moving to New Mexico to live with her mother. She then lived in New Mexico for 9 years. She learned to play the flute as well as the clarinet. Cindy moved back to Denver to live with her father when she then had her first born Paige Lynn Marie Habernal On February 13, 1987. Steven Ray Habernal came into Cindy and Paige's lives two years later. Steve, Cindy and Paige were inseperable. On July 1, 1994 the family welcomed to the world Derrek James Habernal. October 1, 1994 was when Steve and Cindy married. They owned their first home together and both were working full time to create a wonderful home and life for Paige and Derrek. February 17, 1999 Cindy brought Emilee Rae Habernal into the world with Steve. Cindy had been working as a manager for Pizza Hut for 12 years when Emilee was born. Cindy then decided to be a stay at home mom and do childcare out of their home. She watched children all ages for 10 years.

In Cindy's free time she enjoyed gardening, quilting, having children over days, nights and weekends. They would play on the trampolene, play in the pools and sprinklers, go sleding, and listened to music in the backyard with tiki torches going and the children playing. There was not a movie or any new celebrity entertainment that Cindy had not been caught up on. Cindy's main passion and talent was her creative ability to elegantly decorate interior as well as exterior. She could take the cheapest clearance item and place it in elegance in a plain room.

Cindy's biggest strength was her ability to overcome whatever curve ball was thrown her way. She was always a fighter even up until her last breath.
