Claudette Jones

Claudette Jones, 81, of Aurora passed away Monday, April 11, 2022. She was surrounded by her family until the Lord took her home.

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 25, 1940, to Roy and Jean Collins. She graduated from John Hay High School in Cleveland and went directly into the workforce. She lived in Bedford Heights, Ohio along with her Mother and Sister, where she raised her family until her job with United Airlines brought the family to Denver, Colorado in 1987.

Claudette is survived by her sons, Tyrone Jones and Eugene Jones (Christine) of Aurora; and niece, Rosheta Cordova (Chris). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mecaila and Jalen Farnsworth; grandniece, Estelle; great grandson, Ezekiel; and many friends and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Jean Collins and her beloved sister, Royce.

Claudette's job with the airlines provided many opportunities to travel, which was one of her loves. She also loved shopping and spending time with her family. Additionally, Claudette enjoyed meeting and talking to new people. She could make a new friend anywhere she went!

Claudette's kind, loving nature extended to her pets as well, as she was an avid animal lover.
