85, of Black Forest, CO, born June 13, 1923 in Bunker Hill, KS, passed away September 3, 2008. Clay served 24 years in the Marine Corps during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. After military retirement, he taught 5th-6th grades at Franklin Elementary in Colorado Springs. After retiring from teaching, he played golf, traveled and enjoyed time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife: Mary; children: Barbara; Betty (Tom Hubbard); Mary Dean (Lee McCutchen); Mark (Cindy); Bob (Ann); sister: Floris Urban; grandchildren: Brae Bullard; Kyle McCutchen; Brandon Bush; Jack Bush; great granddaughter: Sydney River-McCutchen; numerous nieces and nephews. Military honors will be performed at 11AM, Saturday 9/13 at the Eastonville Cemetery located 1 block east of Meridian Rd. on Latigo Blvd. in Black Forest, Colorado. And a Celebration of Life will follow immediately at the La Foret Conference and Retreat Center, 6145 Shoup Rd., Colorado Springs, Colorado 80908, www.foret.org.
