Clinton Cooper Jr passed away on February 12, 2022 at age 60. Clinton was born 1961 in Montgomery Alabama at Maxwell AFB, the first of Clinton Sr and Anne Merriwether-Cooper's three sons. He lived in Montgomery for those early childhood years while his father was on active duty in the United States Air Force but settled in Denver Colorado's metropolitan area for his elementary school years and most of his adult life.
He is survived by his father and two younger brothers, Reginald and Dwight as well as his former wife, Dana Cooper and her son Jermaine Gaines whom he helped raise, Uncles Joseph and Harold Merriwether, Aunt Clintina Cooper-Simms, several nephews, cousins and long time friends that still live in the Denver-Aurora area. Clinton is preceded in death by his mother, Anne Cooper. He was one that never met a stranger. Other interests included watching TV sports (boxing and football), his only dog, Winston and music. Although self taught, he was quite an accomplished guitarist.
Clinton will be missed.
